LIFESIGNS
'Altitude'
Review by D. Weddle
Lifesigns, is the band you never knew you needed in your life. A collective made up of musical talent at the top of their game with members having worked with the likes of Asia, Scorpions, Dr Hook, Flower Kings, Iona, Bonnie Tyler, Yes and many more.
They have put all of that rich musical history and experience into their latest release, 'Altitude'. A progressive rock masterpiece featuring the epic title track which takes you on journey for a fantastic fifteen minutes. The track list is only 8 songs but don't be fooled, there is a lot of bang for your buck.
Created during lockdown in the band's home studios, 'Altitude' represents a pinnacle moment in time and is as experimental in it's style as it is engaging, with each member bringing something worth hearing to the table.
Produced by Steve Rispin (Yes, Asia) and Vocalist / Keyboard Player John Young (Asia, Scorpions, Bonnie Tyler), the production quality is wonderful even accounting for the unusual circumstances in which it was produced.
The album is independently released and is sold directly through the band.
If you are looking for something new to get your ears around then 'Altitude' should definitely be on your must have list. Lifesigns have created a stunning collection of their finest work to date and it can be yours on vinyl or CD by visiting their website lifesignsmusic.co.uk
