LIPSTEREO
OFFERING ‘FEEDBACK’ TO LOVERS OF ROCK
‘Feedback’ is the latest instalment from LIPSTEREO’s new EP, 'Modern Mythology' which was produced by legendary Australian record producer, Mark Opitz AM.
The bass guitar intro to 'Feedback' is melodic and meditative and sets the scene for an unexpected rock ‘n’ roll diversion of the senses. The song is a departure from the all-out assault of their debut single, ‘Stop’ which has gained international radio recognition in over four continents.
‘Feedback’ cascades into a wall of guitars that Opitz literally invented (AC/DC, The Angels, INXS). The beauty of the melody cannot be understated.
I’ll remember the good times baby
I’ll remember the childish things we’ve done
I remember the bad times lately
So I forget all the lessons that we learned
(‘Feedback’ – lyrics)
The song is as simple as it is memorable. It is a popular live favourite on their university campus shows whilst their ever-growing fanbase finds solace in the sentiment of the song. It is actually a powerful bittersweet rock song with an outer pop veneer. ‘Feedback’ captures lead singer Sam Stranges' reflections, “realising what the good times are and knowing that they won’t last forever.”
LIPSTEREO HIGHLIGHTS FOR THE PAST 8 MONTHS:
