Pre-save "Slow Motion" HERE.
Singer-songwriter Maggie Cubillos, who is currently studying at Berkelee College of Music, is due to release her single "Slow Motion". The song is crammed full of emotional vocal work that really showcases Maggie's extensive range. The song is about letting go and moving on, something that I am sure everyone can identify with.
Maggy has worked with a plethora of talented musicians on this track, including Aaron Mastin (Donald Brown, Brandy) on keys and Charlie Paxon (James Blunt, Liz Phair) on drums, as well as enlisting producer Steve Ornest, so it is no surprise that "Slow Motion" sounds so good.
Overall, it feels uplifting despite the subject matter, and I could see this easily fitting in with any radio station playlist. It seems that music is in safe hands with Maggie Cubillos.
If you are lucky enough to be in the Hollywood area, catch one of Maggie's live shows:
Thursday, July 27- Hotel Cafe (Hollywood)
Thursday, August 17- Viper Room (West Hollywood)
