Review by David Weddle

As far as metal bands go, it doesn't get more iconic than Megadeth. The leviathans of the metal world are back with their brand new single, "We'll Be Back". The first release from their highly anticipated forthcoming album, "The Sick, The Dead, and The Dying" has been released alongside an emotionally charged video which depicts the gruesome reality of war.
Dave Mustaine's performance is solid as a rock, with the pioneer of the genre making it clear that he and his band are back and are just as captivating as ever.
Powerful lyrics and stunning vocals make for a classic Megadeth sound, while the hard and heavy instrumental elements bring a wry smile to the face of a veteran Megadeth fan like myself. There is no doubt that the band have seen their fair share of anomalies of late, none more so than Dave, who has bounced back from his illness with a vigour and power in his voice that is reassuringly familiar.
When it comes to making music that moves you, nobody does it better than Megadeth. "We'll Be Back", is a sign of great things to come from the new album and is sure to be a fan favourite moving forward. It's available to stream right now wherever you stream your music.
