Critically acclaimed, 3x-Grammy-nominated rock mainstays NOTHING MORE ignite 2024 with their emotionally riveting and cathartic new single “If It Doesn’t Hurt” out today (January 19) digitally via BETTER NOISE MUSIC. Focusing on the hard truths of a fractured and toxic romantic relationship, NOTHING MORE have teamed up with director Orie McGinness (Bad Omens, Spiritbox) to emphasize the song’s impassioned lyrical content and potent music with a new music video debuting today. NOTHING MORE--Jonny Hawkins (vocals), Mark Vollelunga (guitar), Daniel Oliver (bass), and Ben Anderson (drums)—will head overseas from February 1 to March 2 on a headlining run across the UK and Europe in continued support of the deluxe version of their 2022 acclaimed album SPIRITS (Better Noise Music). SPIRITS–DELUXE VERSION features six bonus tracks including three live recordings—the first-ever live releases from the group—captured from their sold-out headlining concert at Irving Plaza in New York, New York and an updated version of their hit single “BEST TIMES” featuring Lacey Sturm of Flyleaf. SPIRITS combines unapologetically massive anthems, catchy hooks, and progressive music with introspective, philosophical lyrics and thought-provoking emotionalism. It was accompanied by their very own meta-personality test, SPIRITS TEST, designed by frontman Jonny Hawkins. Similar to tests such as Myers-Briggs, Big 5 and the Zodiac, the test’s results give each participant a “Spirit Type,” one of seven personality characters. The “Spirit Types” and their origin story are further detailed in the band’s first-ever graphic novel “SPIRITS VOL.1” out now via Z2 Comics, grab a copy HERE.
