I am a great believer in the old adage 'If it ain't broke don't fix it' and the new album from Pizza Weasel is a prime example of that. The band from Kent in the UK proudly declare on their Spotify profile 'making tunes like it was 1996', and they are true to their word.

'Apology Bread' is a gloriously Grungy, Nirvana-esque collection of guitar heavy tracks infused with superb 90's Indie style vocals.
While certainly taking influence from the glory days of the indie and grunge rock genre, Pizza Weasel have managed to create a very distinct sound that is undeniably their own.

From start to finish the album is both entertaining and intriguing in equal measure. Tracks like 'Snail' and the album's namesake 'Apology Bread' are both in contention for my top tracks.

A cracking album from a band that definitely has a lot to offer. The cover artwork is pretty awesome as well.
