Flashback Greatest Hits (40th Anniversary) 2024 UK Tour
With a career spanning over four decades and some 30 million+ album sales, it would be fair to say that Leee John is an influential figure in the music industry. Having first hit the charts back in 1981 with ‘Body Talk’, the debut single for Leee and his band Imagination,.
Imagination and Leee John were no-hit wonders, going on to achieve chart success with ‘In The Heat of the Night’ cementing the band’s place in the history of British funk and soul. Imagination made waves whose ripples still have an impact to this day.
In the years since the early 1980's, Leee has gone on to work with some of the ‘greats’ in modern music, including co-writing and singing on the last Gorillaz album, ‘Song Machine’. His collaboration with Damon Albarn saw the track ‘The Lost Chord’ achieve over 15 million streaming downloads to date.
