Religion Of Tomorrow Fit The Pieces With Heavy Rock Single ‘Gaslight’

By Amy Wright – ‘Be You MUSIC PR’
Whitehaven Band Religion Of Tomorrow, closed out 2021, with their aggressive second single of the year, ‘Gaslight’. With the intense build-up, heavy guitar riffs, the oomph of the drums, it’s easy to say that ‘Gaslight’ will put Religion Of Tomorrow in the forefront of Cumbrian Rock Bands to watch out for! The band wrote ‘Gaslight’ from the perspective of an individual living in a controlled relationship, focusing on the realisation of being ‘Gaslighted’, where it can lead to one doubting their own sanity.
The emotional, yet powerful lyrics, make you feel like this heavy burden has been released from your mind, with the knowledge that you have the strength to overcome anything. The soaring vocals by lead singer Karl Christian, really shine through, especially when it comes to the chorus: “That It’s Never Enough For The Friend That Keeps On Giving. The Pieces Fit Cos You Know Just How To Bend Them. How Would You Feel With The Gaslight Shining Upon You? The Pieces Fit Cos You Know Just How To Bend Them”.
The band has a clear vision for bringing hard-hitting real-life subjects into their songwriting, and it’s going to be exciting to see where 2022 takes them.
