"Songs From The Woods" is the brand new EP from Slow River School, the music project of Brian Magee, a Dublin based musician, photographer, and teacher.
Brian's creativity is evident in the diverse nature of the EP. From the enchantingly atmospheric opening tracks, "Songs From The Woods" and "When You Were A Child" to the epic guitar solo in "Dream", there really is something for everyone.
The vocal performance is solid throughout, with a depth and richness that works well with the varied instrumental styles showcased throughout the record. The Slow River School project has produced a little gem and it shines brightest with closing track "Still Haunts You", the opening guitar is proper ear worm that is for sure.
If you're looking for something new and haven't yet listened to "Songs From The Woods", I thoroughly recommend giving it a go. Let your mind go and just chill out for 23 minutes, you won't regret it.
