REVIEW:
Taxi with Strangers
'TIME'
Self-released single ‘Time’ is the latest offering from Lancaster & Morcambe indie-rock quartet Taxi with Strangers. Released in August 2020 right in the middle of a global pandemic, ‘Time’ brought a little bit of light into an otherwise confused and scary world.
You can hear that the band have been together for a while now as they play off each other’s vibes perfectly. The vocals and bass from David Morton-Jones and Jake Bellamy’s and Niall Graham’s melodic, rocky guitar is backed up with stunning tub thumping from drummer Toby Wetherill As a group they have gone through several changes over the last couple of years but they seem to have hit upon a winning combination.
An accomplished track with indie rock influences ‘Time’ will be sure to be a real crowd pleaser (when crowds are allowed again).
Taxi with Strangers are definitely one to look out for over the next 12 months.
