The Marschel twin brothers hang out in front of the television in the 90s and repeatedly watch a clip that they recorded on MTV. “Live Forever” by Oasis - finally current music that Thomas and Rainer like. Not bad-tempered grunge, but euphoric songs in which The Beatles and The Sex Pistols shake hands. It soon becomes clear to the Marschels: They need their own band, and not a cover band! Her name: Atomic. In 2000, the self-published EP “The Big Issue” was released, which sold four figures and was even positively reviewed in the “NME: New Musical Express” from England.
