God in a Black Suit to release their new self titled album on 9th of june.

On June 9, 2023 God in a Black Suit release their debut Long-Play. The album, simply titled God in a Black Suit, consists of ten tracks characterized by the evident Post-Punk/New Wave matrix that characterizes the band, but with strong Indie Rock and Shoegaze influences to enrich the Darkwave atmospheres, scenario of most of the songs. A work that fully expresses the experiences of each of the components, adding them up in a work that is as personal as it is inspired.

​Advocate Of Fate opens the album with an intense Darkwave crescendo, Bittersweet immediately lightens the tone with its typically New Wave vein. Little Empty Head, with a clear 80s breath, opens to the rough sounds of undergorund rock and On Your Plate, on the other hand, runs towards territories more inclined to Gothic, but with a strong Indie Rock imprint. Overcome takes us back to the typically Darkwave environment and then leaves the field to the Alternative vein of Not Today. No.7 sums up all the influences in an anthem with an original movements and Post-Punk reappears strongly in the rhythmic Summer in P.A. Good Intentions opens with originality the final chapter of the album which finds its epilogue in the intense darkwave ballad This Night. The musical influences of God in a Black Suit find their most intimate expression in this first album, clearly defining the sound that had already emerged in 2021's Nails Ep.

In February 2020 Annalisa, Bruno, Giuanluca, Matteo and Pietro began working on the drafts of about ten songs.
The band from Matera releases Nails EP on September 9, 2021, preceded by the single You Don't Have Time, which immediately receives a warm welcome. The second extract will follow Nails and again Walk, which will confirm the great interest aroused by the Italian quintet.
Post-Punk, New Wave, Darkwave among the main influences of the band, but also Kraut Rock, Shoegaze and Indie Rock are in the background of God in a Black Suit. Nails offers a first taste of it with five varied but homogeneous tracks: " You can hear elements of Bauhaus, Pixies, Slowdive, and early Siouxsie in their raw guitar sound and rollicking drums, but each track has its own leitmotif of strange sonic effects and interesting vocal direction. On March 21, 2023 God in a Black Suit released, simultaneously with the official video, the new single Bittersweet, the first single from the upcoming new album. On April 28th, 2023 God in a Black Suit released Little Empty Head, the second single that anticipates the new album. The song is the perfect synthesis of sounds and atmospheres that permeate the band's first Long-Play.
